Where can I find info on real estate transactions - who sold what, etc? - california public real estate auctions
Some newspapers like the San Jose Mercury transactions on a weekly basis. Not sure what to specify their source.
If the municipality or other public agencies to provide this information free? I would be glad if you can list Web sites that carry this information
(Incidentally, I live in California but would be curious to know what all states)

Everyone has their information from public records, which (the transfer of the real estate that you can calculate the price.) Be careful. Remember that the "official" prices may be exaggerated. (Seller could close a lot to cost you paid.)
Additionally, you can search on the website of each county tax assessor. You can find the address and find recent sales. Most sites can from the tax assessor is now a wealth of information, such as the former owner, lot size, maps, original drawings and photographs. Some of them also displayed maps, on which the properties sold recently. They do not know how often pages are updated, if a tax adviser.
What things online that I know, because they absolutely are available, real estate agents and not the public.
County Assessor's probably the only place to get the public certificate.
Some communities have this information on their websites, although I have never seen before. Some documents may also. They have the particular area you are interested to see what is available to view online. It can vary.
Here in the office of tax assessor that Pubisher titles and information on real estate transactions. In my area, is free on a website.
You can not online, you need to go to the office of county assessor, the information is there.
I think that should provide information to the office of County Clerk, if I remember correctly.
